Foodscape's approach rests on one premise: the provenance state of information must be visible. Three mechanisms run through every service and page.
1. Three-state reading
Every reading is marked stated (explicitly on the label or document), inferred (derived by rule) or pending (to be confirmed). The three states are shown separately; inference never masquerades as record.
2. Public metrics gate
Any published number must carry an as-of date, de-duplication rule, snapshot ID and approval. If any field is missing, the number is hidden.
3. Capability boundaries
Planned or exploratory capabilities are always labeled and never presented as available services. AI accelerates organization; key judgments rest on sources, rules and traceability.
4. What we do not do
No single scores, no praise-or-blame rankings, no origin-tracing promises, no medical advice, no invented clients or cases. Demo data is always labeled fictional.
